January 2012: Further to our amazing first year at the re-developed track and the success of the Red Bull Pro Nationals, FatCat Motoparc has secured the first round of the Maxxis British Championship to be held on Sunday March 11th 2012.

April 18th 2011: Well known FatCat face Mr. MXCAM himself Dave Tindall scoops a mega accolade by winning the GoPro Photo of the Day by capturing this awesome picture of FatCat Motoparc proprietor Martin Craven.

April 2011: The first round of the Red Bull Pro Nationals and Elite Youth Cup took place under (mostly) blue skies at FatCat Motoparc on the 2nd/3rd April and saw some totally outstanding riding on the tough sand track. Brad Anderson, Shaun Simpson and Martin Barr dominated MX1 with Elliot Banks-Browne, Mel Pocock and Scott Elderfield taking the honours in MX2. In the 2 Stroke Championship Matt Moffat destroyed the field in the Open Expert with an awesome exhibition of aggressive 2 stroke riding. Nottingham siblings Nathan and Ben Watson took all 6 races between them to scoop the first rounds of the Rookie Cup and the Big Wheel 85. Well done boys.

January 2011: After a slow start due to the extreme weather conditions which unfortunately resulted in the cancellation of our long awaited open day, the new FatCat motoparc has not looked back. With many motoparcs closed due to frost or flooding over the last six weeks, FatCat has played host to a sea of white transit vans and motorhomes disgorging several hundred riders on a Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.
Word has very quickly spread about the awesome and testing nature of the new sand tracks and weekly visitors to the motoparc include Brad Anderson, Nathan Parker, Connor Walkley and extreme enduro riders Dougie Lampkin and the Hemmingway brothers. On the back of this, FatCat is delighted to announce it will host the first round of The Red Bull Pro Nationals and the Red Bull Elite Youth Cup on the 2nd/3rd April. BE THERE....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

November 2010: The long awaited Grand Opening Day of the new FatCat Motoparc is now confirmed as Wednesday 1st December.
To make this day memorable three top UK teams will be attending and bringing their fast lads out to play.
MX legend Dave Thorpe and his CCM Racing team will be bringing British superstars Stephen Sword and Tom Church.
The new Proppa.com KTM team will be fielding Nathan Parker and newly signed Irishman Martin Barr on the revoluntionary 350cc four-stroke and Liam Garland on the 250.
L.P.E. Kawasaki will be introducing newly signed Estonian sensation Gert Krestinov and other riders yet unconfirmed.
It's one day only folks, DON'T MISS IT!

Work continues this month with tarmac being laid in the parking areas and the erection of the timber structures to form the sign on station, shop and suspension workshop.

October 2010: The development of the new FatCat Motoparc site is going full steam ahead with the race track now complete. The practice track is currently under construction and the tarmac car park is also work in progress.
